to go with some mechanical chassis bracing. For ex; if you stiffen the floorpan, that's great. But remember, there is further flex "up stream", for ex; inside the fender to firewall area (& etc), which SPL's chromoly braces address. There really would no way to fill all THAT space. Alot of cars new/old (incl the new C6 Z06) have a 'mech' brace there. Therefore, you're stiffening an already pretty stiff area, while leaving the loose areas the same or perhaps looser. Of course there are other weak spots large & small as well to be addressed, but you need pretty sophisticated machinery/instruments for that.
